| Planting a Flower Garden | |
|
There are two types of flower gardens you want to plant, you can start from scratch and play with seeds or you can do what most people do because they want results right away, they plant flowers already grown and you have to just replant them. The latter may be the easiest and the least amount of stress in flower gardening. With seeds, if something doesn’t grow in a week, people get frustrated. So save your self the aggravation and replant flowers. By doing this you can go to a nursery buy the flower you want to, seeds take too long and if you don’t plant them at just the right season then you won’t see them for a while. You can plant daisies, tulips, sunflowers, lilacs, roses, hosta, peonies, chrysanthemums and hibiscus flowers. Most plant and flower nurseries will have in stock what you are looking for at the time you wish to plant. Some flowers may have an aversion to cold weather, while others don’t Explain to the florist or the representative at the nursery what you are trying to accomplish with your garden and they will be able to give to tips for planting, for example, which type of flowers you wish to plant and what time of year you are thinking of planting them. Many people begin planting in the spring but because of frost you may want to wait until the weather is a bit warmer. Article Copyright 2008 @ Contractor.us |
